The Value of the Competition

unity & motion
Our intention at Comm-Pro-Muse is to provide as much help as we can to songwriters at all stages of their journey. We believe that the structure of the competition provides much more than just the prizes on offer. There is valuable market research. To pit your song against potentially 99 others and see exactly how it stands up is powerful data. We do stress though, that popularity doesn’t mean quality per se. If you are the lucky winner of the prize for last place, it doesn’t mean that your song is no good but that it didn’t stand out to the particular 99 people that heard it. And therein lies another benefit, nearly a hundred people get to hear your song. A community with friendly and supportive rivalry can be added too.
